They run very big and extremely long. The fabric has a lot of stretch, so they technically stay up, but they still feel oversized and sloppy overall. Washing helped the fit slightly, so be aware they do shrink a bit.
The denim feels more like a stretchy jegging than real denim. For this price point, I expected something more substantial. I actually own very similar wide-leg jeans from Walmart that feel like real denim and cost far less.
They also arrived with a strong mothball smell that didn’t fully come out after washing. On top of that, they wrinkle badly for a jean, which makes them feel cheap. I never iron my jeans, and I wouldn’t expect to need to at this price.
What initially attracted me to the brand was an Instagram influencer who said Judy Blue jeans come in multiple inseam options. However, the pair she promoted does not appear on Judy Blue’s actual website, and there was no option to select an inseam when ordering directly from the store. That was confusing and disappointing, since being able to choose inseam length was a big reason I was interested in the brand in the first place. It seems like the influencer or boutique may be offering altered or exclusive versions, but that is not clear when shopping directly.
Overall, not worth $83 in my opinion.
