Product Development Assistant

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90001

$24-$30 an hour

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Product Development Assistant to support and work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, sales, marketing, and overseas factories. This role will play a key part in the development lifecycle, from initial concept through production handoff, helping ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet design intent and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support for the Design team from concept to design to final development
  • Master knowledge of all styles, raw materials and trims
  • Assist with the management of cross-functional communication between merchandising, production, technical design, sales, and external vendors
  • Manage all shipping, tracking, receiving, and organizing of all submits – fabric, trim, wash, fit samples, etc
  • Assist the ordering/invoicing process of raw materials and trims, in coordination with overseas vendors
  • Create and maintain all style master files (N41) and development charts by season
  • Create, prepare, and update visual line sheets as needed
  • Assist with the scheduling, preparation, and documentation of/for milestone meetings – including (but not limited to) wash review, proto review presentation, SMS final review, production hand-off
  • Conduct design research as directed by department head
  • Attend fit sessions as needed and facilitate comments into N41
  • Review lab dips, samples and submits with category leader and enter/send comments to vendors
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements:     

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in product development, production coordination, or similar roles
  • N41 and/or Web PLM experience is a plus!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite (experience with Canva/Adobe a plus)
  • Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, and product construction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize based on business objectives

Wholesale E-Commerce Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90001
Up to $72,000 a year

Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Wholesale E-Commerce Specialist to manage and grow our B2B online sales channels. In this role, you will oversee wholesale platform operations, maintain accurate product listings and pricing, and support bulk order processing. You’ll work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless buying experience for our wholesale clients, while identifying opportunities to expand reach and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce & Sales Support: Assist and support the e-commerce and sales associates in daily operations, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and cross-functional collaboration.
  • B2B Site Management: Maintain and update online wholesale platforms (e.g., FasionGo, Faire, Joor, NuOrder), ensuring listings, pricing, and policies are current and accurate.
  • B2C Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day retail e-commerce tasks including product uploads, order and return processing, customer service, issue resolution, and content creation.
  • Email Marketing: Design and schedule weekly email newsletters to promote new arrivals, campaigns, and promotions.
  • UX Optimization: Collaborate with overseas web developers to revise and enhance website functionality and user flow for improved customer experience.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Monitor site performance using analytics tools and provide data-driven recommendations to improve user experience, conversion rates, and operational efficiency.
  • Product Catalog & Asset Management: Handle product catalogs and imagery across all platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve listing or asset-related issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales and e-commerce teams to support growth initiatives such as site development, SMS/email marketing campaigns, photoshoot coordination, and SEO enhancements.
  • Logistics Tracking: Track inbound and outbound shipments from the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory updates.
  • Assist with photoshoot coordination occasionally, based on operational demands.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field (Relevant industry experience may substitute for formal education)
  • 2–3 years of experience in denim apparel or related fashion categories preferred
  • Previous experience in wholesale and/or e-commerce operations, ideally in both B2B and B2C environments
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Fashiongo, Faire, Joor, NuOrder, and basic ERP systems (Experience with N41 is a plus)
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across departments

This role requires someone who is organized, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality work. You will assist with administrative tasks, customer communications, and inventory coordination, helping ensure smooth office and warehouse workflows.
Key Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls (transferring callers as appropriate), answering emails from clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitoring and managing office access.
  • Greeting customers and visitors to the office, ensuring guests are comfortable and connected with the right office personnel.
  • Managing schedules for conference and showroom spaces.
  • Monitoring and ordering inventory for office and break room supplies pending Supervisor approval.
  • Managing janitorial and office supply inventory lists.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages.
  • Filing and organizing records, invoices and other important documentation.
  • Support with order processing and documentation if needed.
  • Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and equipment pending Supervisor approval.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • Prior experience in wholesale, fashion, or apparel industry is a plus
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
