Size Guidelines: How to choose your Judy Blue Jeans
Judy Blue jeans are known for their incredible stretch, so most customers in our regular size range find their best fit by sizing down one size from their usual jean size.
Most of our plus size customers find their best fit by ordering their true size.

For example, if you normally wear a size 9 or 10, your Judy Blue size will typically be a 7(28). If you normally wear a size 11 or 12, your Judy Blue size will typically be a 9(29). Plus size customers who prefer a more fitted look may choose to size down one size. For example, a size 14W would size down to a Judy Blue 15(32).

Fit preference also plays a role in sizing.
Dad Fit, Boyfriend Fit, Skinny and Slim styles - many customers size down 1 size for a relaxed fit or 2 sizes for a more fitted look with more sculpted, body-hugging fit.
Bootcut, Straight and Relax Fit styles typically fit best when sizing down 1 size only, while Shorts often fit best in your true to size size.

Fits poorly

This is not a relaxed fit, it fits more like a skinny Jean and was much tighter than the slim Jean I ordered in the same size. The rise is also low, not mid. $12 shipping to return

Absolute Perfection!

These jeans are beyond comfortable. Not too relaxed to be baggy but not so tight to be skinny jeans. Will be buying another pair!

Not Quite As Expected... Yet

I love the color and length but it fits a bit tighter than I expected. I usually wear size 13/31 and ordered that size for this pair. It feels more like a skinny fit than a relaxed fit, which was disappointing. Fortunately I'm working on losing weight so I expect these to fit nicely soon (hopefully).
I will keep them as motivation to shed the extra pounds!

Disappointed in sizing

I own multiple pairs of Judy Blue jeans. Sizing has appeared to have changed. I ordered a size larger than those I own but in actuality the new ones are smaller.

I didn't look closely, these are cropped jeans. I will adapt! Otherwise these are very nice.

I ordered the size I always order. As they are billed as "relaxed fit," I expected them to be a little roomy. Not only are they not roomy, they felt like skinny jeans. I will be returning them.

Abbey Relaxed - love them, almost

These jeans fit well and are quite comfortable. I love the length color, and shape. but be aware, the rise is shorter than most JB midrise jeans. I wish they were an inch longer in rise, but otherwise I love them.

Best jeans ever!

The fit stays the same all day and doesn't stretch out. I will not buy any other jeans. Feels like you have comfy pants on and not jeans!

Love these jeans, great color.
I weigh 180 and carry my weight in my stomach and butt and ordered a size 5. These do fit tight and a 7 would have been perfect but I’m currently losing weight. I fit into other size 5s that are not skinny’s perfectly.

Unfortunately this pair did not fit me as well and I resembled a burst tube of biscuits, but my roommate likes them. One thing I like about Judy Blue jeans is the softness and stretch. I just need to make sure I get the full coverage "mom" jeans so I can keep my muffin top in check.

Petite too long

Wonderful style but still too long. I’m 5ft. You can cuff them again but then the cuff feels too thick for my liking.

Perfect fit!

My first introduction to Judy Blue Jeans was when I had an online clothing subscription a few years ago. My stylist sent me a pair and I loved it! It was the only pair I wore on repeat. It held up to all the wash and wear all these years but I’ve noticed some thinning of the fabric on the inner thigh from rubbing so I knew I needed a new pair. I wasn’t sure I was getting the same pair and if they fit me the same so I was very pleased to find that they do! I just received my order today and I will be buying another pair immediately! The length is perfect. I’m 4’11” and these hit just right at my ankles. I hope they will never discontinue them! Shipping was fast, too.
