Judy Blue jeans are known for their incredible stretch, so most customers in our regular size range find their best fit by sizing down one size from their usual jean size.
Most of our plus size customers find their best fit by ordering their true size.

For example, if you normally wear a size 9 or 10, your Judy Blue size will typically be a 7(28). If you normally wear a size 11 or 12, your Judy Blue size will typically be a 9(29). Plus size customers who prefer a more fitted look may choose to size down one size. For example, a size 14W would size down to a Judy Blue 15(32).

Fit preference also plays a role in sizing.
Dad Fit, Boyfriend Fit, Skinny and Slim styles - many customers size down 1 size for a relaxed fit or 2 sizes for a more fitted look with more sculpted, body-hugging fit.
Bootcut, Straight and Relax Fit styles typically fit best when sizing down 1 size only, while Shorts often fit best in your true to size size.

I am mot sure what has changed with manufacturing

I am not sure what has changed with manufacturing as my previous purchase was great, but the odor that emanated from these jeans was horrendous!! Like $12 leggings from China. I washed them several times and they left odor in my washer and dryer and the garment itself never lessened the stench. I cannot recommend these even though the fit was cute. Money lost.

Perfect length

The fit of these jeans are perfect. I am very curvy with thick legs. They fit comfortable.

A little too long...

I ordered these jeans -- my first pair of Judy Blues. They are lovely. They fit well -- I did order a size down as the website instructed. I was a little nervous doing this but they are correct. My only complaint is that they are about 3 inches too long. I will have to wear heels with them and I can't really tolerate heels. I've thought about returning them and I still might but outside of that I really like them.

Happy with my purchase

I was happy that as they said size down. Honestly I was worried when I first pulled them out of the package but the fit and feel comfortable. I am shorter so have had to hem them but thats a given for me. The thighs and calves feet great. Awesome job guys

Too much stretch

I guess I should’ve ordered a petite because although the jeans were cute and more or less fit everywhere, but the underbelly seemed to have too much stretch so it didn’t do much for me in the way of holding anything in. I ordered an 18 W I am 180 pounds 5ft 4.5

They are so soft and so amazingly comfortable. I found out about Judy blue jeans from a little boutique that I bought one pair from and I have been a believer ever since I won’t wear any other jeans other than Judy Blue they are so comfortable and so figure flattering.

Oh So Nice!

I love these jeans. The fabric is like heaven. Cotton, stretchy, and so so comfy. I would give 5 stars if the length was a bit longer. I ordered tall and they are still a bit short. I don’t like too short flares. If they had been a. Boyfriend Jean and I could roll up to make an ankle length Jean it would have been fine, but you can’t roll a flare and I really wanted them to be long enough. Perfect in every way except length.

Great fit

Bell bottom not flare

The waist and hips fit perfectly. It is a great fit and comfortable fabric feel, but the leg style is closer to a bell bottom than a flare. Longer leg, so for shorter people like myself, it needs to be hemmed and will lose the fashionable look of the raw edge.
